Q: How do I get to Casa 22 from the Merida International Airport (MID), and do you offer USD to MXN currency exchange? A: Getting here is simple. Merida International Airport (MID) is roughly a 20-to-25-minute drive from our property via taxi or rideshare apps. While we don't offer physical USD to MXN currency exchange directly, we have a live currency gadget on our site to help you check current rates, and there are several major bank ATMs just minutes away where you can safely pull cash (MXN) anytime. Q: How do I get from the new Maya Train station in Teya to Casa 22? A: The fastest way to get from the Estación Mérida Teya to Casa 22 in the García Ginerés neighborhood is by taxi or rideshare (such as Uber or DiDi), which takes about 32 minutes. Alternatively, you can use the modern Ie-Tram bus system for a budget-friendly public transit route into the city center before catching a short taxi to your final destination.

Q: Is there a charge to use the laundry service? A: No. We offer complimentary laundry services free of charge to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Q: Is the water in your pool filtered? A: Yes! We feature a clean, filtered swimming pool open daily for all guests to enjoy and relax. Q: Is Wi-Fi available at the hotel? A: Yes. We offer free, high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the property so you can stay connected. Q: Do you offer parking on-site? A: Yes. We provide free and secure parking inside our gated premises. Space is limited, so please check with us for availability before finalizing your booking. In addition free, and safe street parking is readily available right in front of the property. There are no fees or permits required, and the area is very secure. Q: Are the rooms air-conditioned? A: Yes, absolutely! To ensure your complete comfort during your stay in Mérida, every single one of our boutique rooms is equipped with fully adjustable air-conditioning. For an extra crisp and perfectly cooled environment, our larger units feature two separate A/C units so you can customize the temperature across your entire space. You will always have a cool, refreshing sanctuary to return to after a wonderful day of exploring the Yucatán!

Q: Where is the nearest Taco place, and where can I find authentic Yucatecan food? A: The nearest taco place is Parque de las Américas, a quick 5-minute walk from our front doors. Wayan'e, El Jardin Yucateco (a 15-minute walk), Museo de la Gastronomía Yucateca and Chaya Maya are highly recommended by our guests for authentic Yucatecan food like enmoladas, cochinita pibil, sopa de lima and panuchos just to mention a few.

Q: Where is the nearest beach town? A: Progreso is the nearest beach town, located 30 minutes away or 43 kilometers from our front doors. Q: Where is the best cenote to visit near Merida? A: Cenote Xbatún is a postcard-perfect, crystal-clear open cenote surrounded by lush jungle roots hanging down into the water. It is located at a 50-minute drive near the community of San Antonio Mulix. Q: What is the best Maya ruin to visit near Merida? A: For architectural wonder and grandeur, we always recommend Uxmal at 1-hour drive south of Mérida. For a quick trip and museum experience you can visit Dzibilchaltún at a 25-minute drive north of Mérida. And for an off-the-beaten-path adventure we recommend Mayapán at a 45-minute drive southeast of Mérida. Q: Can you help us explore the area and book local tours? A: Absolutely! We love helping our guests experience the magic of the Yucatán like a true local. Whether you want to wander through ancient Maya ruins, swim in hidden cenotes, discover secluded beach towns, or explore historic colonial towns and haciendas, we are here to help you arrange it all. Policies & Fine Print
Q: Can I check in early or check out late? A: Our standard check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. This window gives our small team enough time to make the property sparkling clean for our next guests. If you arrive early or have a late departure, please let us know! While we can't always guarantee early room access, you are more than welcome to drop off your bags with us, so you can start exploring Mérida stress-free. Q: Do you offer discounts for longer stays? Yes, we love hosting guests who want to truly settle in and experience the beauty of Mérida! We offer a 5% discount for weekly stays (7 nights). For longer stays, we offer a 10% discount on your first 28 nights. Any consecutive nights booked beyond the initial 28-night period will be automatically calculated at our standard nightly rate. These special rewards are applied directly at checkout when you book through our website. Q: Can I host an event or invite outside guests over for a gathering? A: To guarantee a completely peaceful, tranquil, and private environment for everyone staying with us, we maintain a strict no-parties and no-events policy. Our intimate 4-unit property is designed as a quiet sanctuary for relaxation. Because of this, only registered guests are permitted on the hotel grounds, and we kindly ask everyone to observe our quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We appreciate your help in keeping our space a serene getaway for all! Q: Can we bring our children to the hotel? A: Because we want every guest to have a completely safe and relaxing stay, our boutique hotel accommodates guests aged 18 and older only. Our intimate property features traditional Yucatán architecture, including an open pool without safety rail-guards, and historic second-floor balconies and windows without child protection. While these elements are legal and standard for local boutique designs, they pose significant safety hazards for little ones, and we choose to prioritize their well-being above all else. Q: Are pets allowed at the hotel? A: As animal lovers who have our own beloved and rescue pets on-site, we know how hard it is to leave your companions behind. However, due to the intimate size of our 4-unit property, shared courtyard spaces, and the protective nature of our own animals, we cannot safely accommodate guest pets.
